'I saw my parents getting intimate'

Dear Diana, I am 14 years old. Two days ago, I entered my parents' bedroom and I saw them in an intimate position.

They saw me too. I was embarrassed and quickly left the room. Since that incident, there has been an uneasy silence between us. But I just want them to know that I’m not judging them or anything. But I don’t know how to tell it to them.

Dear Yomini,
It’s best to ignore it. There is no point thinking about what you saw and trying to tell your parents anything. You felt embarrassed and so did they. So just forget the entire episode. Next time it is better that when you enter the room, call out or knock if the doors is closed before you enter their room. You are 14 and I am sure you know about the birds and bees and how babies are born. So stop pondering about it.u00a0
