1. Unit 7: Washed in the warm glow of light bouncing off narrow glass tables, the small Lokhandwala eatery has a cheerful ambience with a Machu Picchu painting adorning a wall. The outdoor section has a garden-like feel with wooden benches. Though a couple of guests were spotted at the pop-up, still delivery seems to be their main area of business. They deliver within five-km radius. Peruvian combo called The Mob, Clasica Mutton Burger, Pollo A La Brasa (Roasted Chicken) and Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian Rice) at this new junction will reward you with an ultimate Peruvian-Mexican fare in the city.
Where: Lokhandwala Market, 1st Cross Lane, Andheri (W).
2. Monkey Bar: Come monsoon and your snack of the season got a makeover. This Bandra joint will give you every reason to ditch the pakoras for popcorn chicken. The golden fried bite-sized crunchy balls make for delicious nibbles along with a cocktail. Reddy's Popcorn Chicken is a massive improvement on the stuff KFC doles out.
Where: Summerville, Junction of 14th & 33rd Road, Linking Road, Bandra (W).
3. The Conical Twist: How about binging on the usual pizzas in a different way? The Conical Twist serves everyone's favourite junk food, pizza, in a convenient, to-go fashion – cones. The menu, at the moment, isn't extensive. It offers 11 pizza cones, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There is also a Make Your Cone section, which allows you to pick your sauce and choose four of the many toppings, which include mushrooms, baby corn, pepper chicken and paneer.
Where: 1, Link Corner Mall, 33rd Road, off Linking Road, Bandra (W).
