This weekend, a free virtual storytelling event will narrate bedtime childhood classics to young readers

Small tales, big ideas

The session will include classics such as tales of Vikram and Vetal

If you’ve run out of bedtime stories for your kids, here’s a possible fix. Earlier this year, the Indian Tales podcast found its way to multiple audio platforms, with host Stuti Jain narrating some classic childhood stories, involving tales about Akbar and Birbal, Vikram and Vetal, as well as those from Jataka Tales and Panchtantra. This weekend, the podcast moves away from their weekly episodes to a more intimate way of storytelling, by organising a session titled Short Fun Stories that narrates these fables to children, right before bedtime. The stories are meant to inculcate positive thinking, with thought-provoking messages in each tale.
