Union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale on Wednesday said he had filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India objecting to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi`s frequent allegation that the BJP would change the country`s Constitution. He should be prohibited from making this claim, said Athawale, a prominent Dalit leader and BJP ally. "Rahul Gandhi has frequently claimed that the BJP plans to change the Constitution if it comes to power again. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has refuted these charges several times. I have filed a complaint with the Election Commission against Gandhi`s frequent claims. He should be prohibited from saying it, and there should be some action against him," the minister added.

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Cash van carrying Rs 4.70 crore seized in Mumbai, IT probing matter
A cash van carrying Rs 4.70 crore in currency notes was seized by the Mumbai Police, on suspicion about the antecedents and purpose of the money, an official said on Wednesday. The cash van was intercepted during a special vigilance drive by the Powai police station around 4 days ago and after checking the contents, it was seized. Later, an official said the Income Tax Department was informed and it dispatched a team to verify the antecedents of the seized cash from the van driver and an attendant. (IANS)

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: UTS app allows booking of tickets from any location to any destination
The Indian Railways has withdrawn the outer limit of geo-fencing on its UTS mobile app, allowing users to book unreserved train tickets from any location to any destination, officials said on Wednesday. The move is aimed at enhancing passenger convenience and making the process of booking tickets easier, said Western Railways officials. UTS app is an official Android mobile application of the Indian Railways to book unreserved train tickets. Rail users can now book suburban and non-suburban train tickets outside station premises, which was not possible before, they said.
