Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Dharavi redevelopment project: Mulund land payment completed in Oct 2024
Documents received in response to a Right to Information (RTI) Act query reveal that the payment process for handing over salt pan land at Mulund to the state government was completed in October 2024. Dharavi Redevelopment Project Pvt Ltd (DRPPL) paid Rs 319.70 crore to procure 58.5 acre of the land. Read more.

The crowded Malad station problem has been addressed, for now, with the station getting a brand new additional platform, although temporarily, officials said, adding that an additional rail corridor and station is in the works for the harbour line. The West Region Cyber Police have arrested Rahul Tejasingh, a Jaipur-based banker, for his alleged involvement in a Rs 72.5 lakh investment fraud.
