The Delhi Police seem to have finally discovered the source of the sophisticated arms and ammunition which city criminals were caught using in the recent past.
Manish Kumar, 26, who was arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police for selling arms illegally, has revealed he had procured the pistols from Munger in Bihar. The police said the weapons were manufactured in and around Munger district. Kumar was arrested from Sector 24, Rohini, few days ago when he had come to deliver a pistol to an unknown person.
The police said there have been many instances in the recent past when petty criminals have been caught using sophisticated weapons. "We wanted to ascertain the source of these weapons and came across Manish. After receiving a tip-off that he was going to Sector 24 in Rohini, we arrested him and recovered 12 pistols from him," said Neeraj Thakur, additional commissioner of police (Crime).u00a0u00a0
