Last week, Thackeray had clearly told party members that there will be major changes in the party’s city unit in the coming days.
More, who had held the post for the last 19 months said, “Raj saheb had told me that he is going to change each and every office bearer. So I requested him to start from me. If, by replacing me, there will be positive changes in the party’s city unit then I am all for it.”
Corporator More even claimed that besides Wagaskar’s name for the post, he also recommended the names of corporators Kishor Shinde and Rupali Patil.
Wagaskar said, “It’s a big responsibility. Corporators will work in groups of five and will focus on issues like water supply, transport and try to bring time-bound solutions.”
