Glitters, the new imitation jewellery store on MG Road, is already a rage with the young college-going crowd and stocks a variety of designs that will have you spoilt for choice. Though the focus is on women, they do stock accessories for men as well.

Range: They offer products ranging from earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants to armlets and anklets. Make sure you check out the wood and surgical steel products, which are priced as low as Rs 70.

USP: Take a look at their Bollywood and television-inspired collections, including the Jodha Akbar kundan sets and antique Balika Vadhu bangles. If you wish to buy something heavy and yet contemporary, opt for the American Diamond set. If you wish to keep it classy and elegant, a fresh-water pearl set or a jade set may be the right choice, though you should be ready to shell out a little more moolah.

We liked: An antique set (Rs 2,550) would be a perfect gift for a bride-to-be. The intricate detailing complemented the maroon stones. The set included a pair of earrings, a neck piece and a mang-tika.

Youngsters would surely fall in love with the colourful bead jewellery (Rs 120) which can be mixed and matched with your t-shirt. An earring in white metal (Rs 270) imported from Korea can be ideally worn for a night out.
