As the first website devoted to a Kannada movie is launched, the film's stars will be at your command

Stars Upendra and Ramya have all the time in the world to chat with you following the launch of the first Kannada website devoted to a single movie, on Friday.

The website for the film, Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids, is a first in the Kannada movie industry and comes as Sandalwood celebrates its platinum jubilee. The movie is scheduled for release this month.

Designed by America Online (AOL), the website will provide basic information on the movie, photos and videos, and will also have special features like an online chat with the director and crew including Upendra and Ramya.

"We will be available online," said director Rajendra Singh Babu, who launched the website at the AOL office near Marathalli. We will interactu00a0 with them. It's an experiment." The aim is to achieve hi-tech publicity through the website, which will be designed in four languages - Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

"The web is the medium of the future," said Babu. "As we are releasing the movie in four languages, we needed a different medium."

There's excitement among the technical people behind the website too.

"Working on the first Kannada movie website is exciting," said Seetharam Vishwanath, manageru00a0 AOL. They have designed a video game based on the movie, another first, which can be downloaded. Visitors to the site can participate in contests.
