Young Congress MPs Milind Deora and Sachin Pilot speaks about their experiences in the outgoing Lok Sabha

Disruptions concern, MP Deora

Young Congress parliamentarian Milind Deora has said that the fourteenth Lok Sabha witnessed "unprecedented disruptions" by a non-cooperating Opposition.

"I am concerned that all this would affect the very purpose for which we are elected and sent to the Parliament. One instance which comes to my mind is when the Opposition staged a walk out of the discussion over the historic Right to Information Bill," he said.

"Such things should not have happened," he added.

Another young MP of the party, Sachin Pilot, however exuded confidence that the Congress was more than ready to face the electorate.

"We have worked so much so that we were waiting when elections would be announced and we would go to the people to see mandate," Sachin said.

Hailing Somnath Chatterjee as an "exceptional" Speaker, Sachin said "Everyone has tremendous regard for Somnath chatterjee. He was unbiased in his approach. We wish him a healthy life," he said.
