Well, you don't need to take us seriously on that one, but adding a few red touches to your home this Valentine's Day is a good idea. After all, you do need an excuse to deck up your home occasionally, don't you? We tell you all that you can do to turn your home into a love nest:

*u00a0Candle craze: They not only look great but also create a fantastic mood. Place red and pink candles on the dinning table and you're ready for a romantic candlelight dinner. Opt for scented ones to make the moment even more special.
*u00a0Balloon basics: Though this may seem a wee bit juvenile, heart shaped balloons stuck around different corners of the room will scream out 'It's Valentine's Day,' just so that you don't forget about it. And if you've got young kids, they'll have fun with the balloons too.
*u00a0Roses rule: We're assuming that you must have been gifted roses by your spouse. But if you haven't, make sure you buy a few dozens for your hall and bedroom. They're the eternal love mascot.
*u00a0Red rage: If you're the no nonsense, non-expressive types, you could just replace your vanilla home linen with red curtains, bedsheets, cushion covers etc. They'll make your home look bright for a change.
*u00a0Cool candies: If you want your guests to enjoy your decorations, place a few red and pink candy sticks in a pretty bowl in the hall. You'll have your guests making it a tradition to visit you every V-Day.
*u00a0Charge for cards: Make sure you display all your V-Day cards to show everyone how much you are loved. Doesn't matter if they're from last year. As long as they are nice and red, they qualify for V-Day decorations.
*u00a0Stylish streamers: Take strips of red crepe paper and hang them next to curtains or where ever you think they might look best. Just make sure they're away from the fan and the window.u00a0
