Four-piece metal band Reverrse Polarity are back with Jonathan on the drums for the Blue Frog Metal Nights scheduled tonight. The band shot to fame as the winner of reality show Channel [V] Launchpad in 2009, where they knocked out 19 other bands. The band owes its name to a video game franchise.

Says vocalist Gaurav Kataria, who's an avid gamer, "In Warcraft, one of the heroes has a power known as Reverse Polarity. With proper placement, a single Reverse Polarity can change the outcome of a team battle and potentially win the game. If combined with other area of effect spells, it can destroy an entire enemy team."

The gig will also see performances by Noiseware and Chronic Phobia. Pune-based experimental metal band Noiseware is in Mumbai after a heart-stopping opening act for Meshuggah, Tesseract and Enslaved. Chronic Phobia is Mumbai's upcoming metal band, with Jugal Jagwani on vocals, Charan Singh Pathania and Nikhil Iyer on guitars, Pratika Evangeline Prabhune on bass, and Pritesh Prabhune on drums. The band has switched from its old schoolish thrash sound to extreme experimental.
