Bageshwar Baba expresses grief over Maha Kumbh Stampede - Watch video

Bageshwar Dham Chief, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, expressed his sorrow over the stampede at the Mahakumbh on January 29. In a video message, he shared that he had advised devotees to take a holy dip wherever they were, to avoid overcrowding. He acknowledged that crores of devotees had gathered and assured that the administration was working hard to manage the situation. He described the incident as heart-wrenching and urged everyone to remain patient. Shastri also mentioned that the Akharas and saints decided to take the holy dip in the evening, hoping to ease the difficulties for the devotees and prevent further chaos. He emphasized the importance of calm and order during this time.
