Former Bihar MLA Anant Singh narrowly escaped an attack when shots were fired between two groups in Nauranga village, Barh, on Wednesday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Avkash Kumar, nearly 15 rounds were fired during the shootout. Anant Singh spoke to reporters, explaining that a group of poor villagers had approached him, claiming that they were forcefully evicted from their homes by influential individuals. The attackers also locked their houses, leaving them homeless. Singh said the situation quickly escalated into gunfire, but he was fortunate to escape unharmed. The incident has raised concerns about law and order in the area, and an investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible for the violence.
