North Korea issues list of 28 approved haircuts

Women have a bit more choice a dazzling array of 18 styles that seem to have been plucked from an episode of 80s soap Dynasty. Married women have been told to keep their hair short while singletons can have longer locks.u00a0

Spiky crops are among North Korea’s banned styles. Breaking the new rules could leave people facing a brush with the law. But North Korea’s first lady, Ri Sol-ju, has proved herself to be more fashion forward suggesting there could be a change for the country’s next generation.
