Pippa Middleton paintings are set go on sale in Glasgow for 1,700 pounds, but its her famous rear view not her face that will profit the artist behind it.

Creator Laetitia Guilbaud, who had failed to sell her original portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge's sister has finally succeeded after painting her subject from the rear.

Guilbaud, 31, from Glasgow, now hopes to sell the two pictures of Pippa as a set.

"I realised in painting Pippa from the front, I was only showing half of her character. It was a mistake," the Scotsman quoted Guilbaud as saying.

"I am an admirer of Pippa. She is such a strong woman," she added.

Earlier this year, the artist's portrait of Kate, sold for 4,500 pounds- four times over the asking price.
