According to a new survey, UK teens spend 87 hours a year looking at online porn.

The survey, carried out by onepoll.com for parental lock software CyberSentinel found that UK teens spend at least one hour and 40 minutes a week looking at online porn - that's just under 87 hours a year.

Teens also spend a further three and a half hours a week chatting on MSN and just over three hours on homework, though the survey, which questioned 1,000 teens aged 13-16, doesn't say if this is simultaneous with the blue browsing. A further hour and 35 minutes is spent looking at dieting and weight loss websites.

The other popular teen searches include plastic surgery, family planning and emotional support.

The survey also revealed the alarming fact that one in four teenagers admit they regularly talk to strangers online, and think it is completely harmless.
