Alex Ferguson accused Rio Ferdinand of letting down Man Utd after the defender refused wear equality group Kick It Out's anti-racism t-shirt during pre-match warm-up against Stoke City on Saturday.
Ferdinand is protesting against a relatively weak punishment to John Terry who was handed a four-match ban by FA for of racially abusing Rio’s brother Anton during a match against QPR last year.
“I’m very disappointed, he has let us down. It is embarrassing for me. He will be dealt with, no doubt about that,” Ferguson said after United’s 4-2 win over Stoke.
