Kolkata: Rahul Ghosh, the 20-year-old cricketer who was hospitalised on Tuesday after being hit on the head while fielding in a local league match is "gradually improving", his attending doctor said yesterday.

"His condition is much stable now, he is gradually improving. The blood clot too has reduced," doctor Buddhadev Saha, who is attending Rahul, told IANS.
Rahul has been on a liquid diet and according to Saha he would soon be given solid food to eat. "He has been in a liquid diet, let's see we might give him something to eat today," added Saha.
