Winning or losing is not even on the mind of this 20-year-old qualifier from Jalandhar. For Vivek Chopra, a rendezvous with cue sport legend Geet Sethi is a high as huge as winning a title.
"I have never met him. So yeah, I am extremely excited to be just playing against him," Chopra, who is India's No 2 junior player told MiD DAY on the eve of his match against Sethi at the Cricket Club of India's Platinum Jubilee Snooker tournament.

The wiry cue sport exponent's tryst with the sport began as an 18-year-old after he saw his elder brother drawing a lot of attention in one of the pool parlours in his hometown.
That was enough for Chopra to order a cue and visits to local pool parlours became a ritual.
But winning Punjab State tourney forced him to sit back and think of taking cue sport as a serious proposition. And once he had made up his mind, success became a frequent visitor.
So while he kept winning local tournaments with ease, he won the state tournament the following year and later finished runner-up in the Junior Nationals the same year.
"I'm extremely happy with the way I have been performing so far. And meeting Geet Sethi in the opening round is a thrilling prospect. I am hoping that it will be an exciting match for the spectators," he said.
