Will Argentine football legend Diego Maradona, considered to be among the greatest footballers ever, turn out in typical Kerala attire when he is here for a few hours Wednesday?

Maradona's friend, industrialist Bobby Chemmanur, at whose invitation the renowned footballer is visiting Kerala, said: "Yes, we will tell him to dress in the traditional dhoti and shirt when he comes here."
Maradona will arrive here Tuesday evening from Dubai and attend three functions the next day - the opening of a showroom of Chemmanur International Jewellers, the inauguration of helicopter services of Chemmanur Airlines, and a little playful football at the Municipal Stadium here.
The organisers are apprehensive about the rain gods playing spoilsport. A massive crowd is expected at the Municipal Stadium here, where the master footballer is expected to conduct a dribbling session.
As Maradona's 52nd birthday falls Oct 30, the organisers will also arrange for the cutting of a special 25-kg football-shaped cake.
Soon after the function, Maradona is set to return to Dubai from the Kozhikode airport.
