Aman, Noel in men's table tennis final

India No 8 and top seed Aman Balgu was a class apart against junior Nishaad Shah, while second seed Noel Pinto outwitted the redoubtable Eric Fernandes on their way to the men's singles final of the Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana Club (JVPGC) All Mumbai Ranking table tennis tournament yesterday

Incidentally, both Aman and Noel notched up identical 4-1 wins over their respective rivals.

Aman triumphed over Nishaad 7-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5, while Pinto beat Fernandes 14-16, 11-7, 11-6, 11-9, 14-12.

On the other hand, it was double joy for favourites Shweta Parte and Charvi Kawle, who made it to the finals of both women’s and
