Serah Menezes of St Mary's Convent (Mulund) won titles in two different categories of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school tennis championships at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) courts on Saturday.
The Class IX student arrived for the 10.30 am singles match at Cooperage having toiled for an hour-an-a-half in the examination hall from 7 to 8.30 am yesterday. She had to give her History and Political Science term exams before coming for the match.
The 14-year-old first won the girls U-16 title defeating Vineeta Davar of Utpal Shanghvi (Juhu) 8-5. Later, Serah teamed up with Kinnary Panchal to win the girls team championship.u00a0
