SRH skipper Kane Williamson played a well-timed innings with 57 runs coming off 46 balls. Williamson's innings included 2 boundaries and 4 sixes before he was dismissed by Pandya. He was also adjudged the man-of-the-match

Although Gujarat picked up just 2 wickets, spinner Rashid Khan, alongside Hardik Pandya performed brilliantly with his 1/28, dismissing opener Abhishek Sharma for 42 runs. Sadly, this was not enough as SRH beat GT by 8 wickets
