This order explicitly prohibited Hyatt from playing sound recordings owned by Novex Communications Private Limited without obtaining the necessary license.

According to the court, Hyatt willfully disobeyed the order on more than 14 occasions, prompting the court to issue a contempt notice. The court has directed Hyatt to respond to the allegations by April 28, 2025.
The injunction order was issued in response to a lawsuit filed by Novex Communications Private Limited, which alleged that Hyatt was using its sound recordings and Novex Nic songs etc without permission. The court found in favor of Novex Communications, granting an ad interim injunction that prohibited Hyatt from using the sound recordings without a valid Novex license.
