Malayalam film BESTY featuring Ashkar Saudan, the nephew of South superstar Mammootty and produced by KV Abdul Nazar's Malayalam film is all set to release in theaters on 24 January 2025. At an event in Mumbai, Javed Ali (super singer of several hit films including the latest Pushpa 2) launched a beautiful song of this film that features talented Ashkar Saudan. The film is made under the banner of Benji Productions with Rakesh Patel having choreographed the qawwali which also sees an appearance by Rakesh Patel's guru choreographer Lollipop.

Composed by Chetan Srivastava and Shubham Shukla, the qawwali song - 'Khuda Tu Saja' has lyrics by Shubham Shukla. Besty's screenplay, dialogue writer and director of the film is Shanu Samad and the film has Sakshi Agarwal Savana and Shaheen Siddiqui along with Ashkar Saudan in leading roles.

"Bestie is a family film in which all the actors have done a great job and the film's highlight is its superlative songs. Though the film is in Malayalam language, this particular qawwali is in Hindi," remarked Benji, the producer.

Riding high on the success of his song Peelings from Pushpa 2, singer Javed Ali recalls that he has sung a qawwali after many years, "I have sung this beautifully written and composed qawwali for Bestie which is a situational song. What is striking is that the qawwali has been filmed in the same style as I had imagined while singing it," further adding that Ashkar looks exactly like his uncle Mammootty and Sakshi is an epitome of beauty in this film.

Malayalam actor Ashkar praised his fellow actress Sakshi and called her a super dancer and actress, he said "I thank Javed Ali ji for giving his voice and for joining with us for the journey of our film." Sakshi Agarwal recounts that she has performed several stunts and is all praises for her co-star Ashkar who has become her bestie in real life too.

Bestie also has a romantic song that is filmed in the beautiful location of Manali, a grandly picturized wedding song and the qawwali sung by Javed Ali. All songs are choreographed by Rakesh Patel.
