Director James Cameroon is all set to direct a 3-D documentary chronicling the Black Eyed Peas' tour of South America. People will be able to see the band in the theatres with 3-D glasses and everything. CS gives you some dope on this music band:u00a0



*u00a0The Black Eyed Peas are an American hip hop group that formed in Los Angeles, California in 1995. They have sold an estimated 35 million albums worldwide and 41 million singles.

*u00a0The group comprises vocalist and multi-instrumentalist will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie. In 2003, they scored with their first worldwide hit Where Is the Love?

*u00a0In 2009, the group became one of the only 11 artists to have ever held the number one and two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with their songs, Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling.

*u00a0Will Adams (will.i.am) and Allen Pineda (apl.de.ap) were friends since eighth grade.

*u00a0After the death of Easy-E, the band that was initially called Atban Klann changed their name to Black Eyed Pods and then to Black Eyed Peas. They replaced Dante Santiago with Jaime Gomez (Taboo).

*u00a0They always performed with a live band and chose a musical and clothing style different from the Gangsta Rap of those days.

*u00a0Their first successful album was Elephunk, which had Stacy Ferguson of Eden's Crush singing with them.u00a0

*u00a0They won three awards at the 2010 Grammys for I Gotta Feeling and Boom Boom Pow and performed these songs at the FIFA World Cup 2010.
