As a special gesture to Kangna Ranaut, the leading lady of 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns', makers of the film released a motion poster and a quirky caricature teaser on her 28th birthday on Monday.

The film's poster shows R Madhavan posing with the two avatars of Kangna -- one dressed as a bride and the other as a tomboy.

Kangna even celebrated her birthday at the poster launch event with the team of 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' by cutting a cake.

Kangna and Madhavan will reprise their respective roles, Tanuja (Tanu) and Manoj (Manu), in the sequel which will begin from the point where the first part of the romantic comedy ended.

Directed by Aanand L. Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma, 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is slated to release in May.
