Imran Khan is playing a guy from Haryana in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola" and is growing a beard and mustache for the role. But the actor does not like it and says he would prefer clean shaven look.

"Keeping beard is always very annoying. Honestly, it is not fun at all. I would prefer being clean shaven but what to do? We have to do these things in this profession," Imran told IANS.

The actor was here Tuesday to promote his forthcoming film "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu", with Kareena Kapoor and director Shakun Batra. The Karan Johar production venture will release Friday.

The film got into trouble when the censor board raised objections to the use of words sex and butt in the promos of the film, but the things have been sorted out.

"Everything is sorted and we have got a U/A certificate. We are allowed to keep those words," said Batra.

At promotional events, the focus is usually on stars and this was no different. As soon as Imran and Kareena entered an auditorium in the Satyam Multiplex, photographers started clicking them, leaving the director out of the frame.

But Imran was quick to pull in Shakun and said, "This is our director Shakun Batra, inki bhi photo le lo (click his photo also). He looks like he is 17, but he is older than that."
