A decade after she acted in her debut film Vinay Shukla's critically-acclaimed The Godmother, Raima Sen teams up with the National award-winning director yet again for Mirch.

The bold film weaves four short woman-centric stories together in a humorous way.

Says Raima, "I share a mature, working relationship with Vinay. Mirch's shooting has just completed and it was great working with him again."

The actress adds, "Vinay was able to draw out a performance from me in Godmother when I was a mere rookie. I was absolutely new. And in Mirch, too, after all these years I hope to do full justice to my role. Though I feel I am still learning."

Bong brigade

Raima has Konkona Sensharma and Shahana Goswami as her female co-stars. So there has been the Bong girls at work brigade on the sets of Mirch. She features in two of the short stories in the film opposite Shreyas Talpade and Rajpal Yadav.

She hopes that she can recreate the magic of Godmother with this film too.
Raima was last seen in Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye earlier this year is looking forward to Mirch to spice up her acting front. Riya Sen's sister will also be seen in Mumbai Cutting which consists of short stories by a group of directors.
