A big fan of the Academy Awards, director Sajid Khan was disappointed when the members chose The Hurt Locker as Best Picture over Avatar. "They can't compare The Hurt Locker to Avatar. It's like comparing Ardhsatya to Sholay, they are totally in different leagues.
I don't want to diss Hurt Locker, I think it's a brilliant film, but nothing compares to the path-breaking cinema that's Avatar.
It's the biggest grossing film of all time and you can't take that away from it." We agree.
