• Those who are not aware will be shocked to know that, even though ‘Parineeta’ was Vidya Balan’s mainstream Bollywood debut film, but, that wasn’t her debut in showbiz industry. Vidya Balan had started off her career with a laugh-a-riot TV serial called ‘Hum Paanch’. She had played the role of Radhika Mathur, who always had a hearing aid to her rescue. The serial also starred Ashok Saraf, Shoma Anand, Bhairavi Raichuria, Vandana Pathak. The serial was aired from the year 1995 till 2006 and was one of the most widely watches serials of those times.
