Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan, who is known to be fastidious about his fitness, followed a 14-month intensive high-protein diet for his role of an Indian Air Force officer in Fighter. As Ishq jaisa kuch from Siddharth Anand’s directorial venture was unveiled recently, the actor shared a behind-the-scenes video of savouring his cheat meal after filming the song with Deepika Padukone. At the end of the song shoot, Duggu’s cook surprised him with his favourite sweet dishes, with a healthy twist—beetroot halwa, moong dal halwa and protein brownies. The actor, who had gone off mithai for his rigorous fitness regime, can be seen relishing every bite, in the video shared on social media. He aptly titled the clip: My ishq jaisa kuch moment with food. In the video, Hrithik, after indulging in the food, sums up the experience as “Santushti [satisfaction]. Trupti [contentment].” Fighter, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover in key roles, has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with a U/A rating.

Nayanthara says sorry

Nayanthara says sorry

A few days after Annapoorani was removed from Netflix for hurting religious sentiments, Nayanthara issued an apology. Beginning her note with ‘Jai Shri Ram’, the actor wrote, “In our sincere attempt to share a positive message, we may have inadvertently caused hurt. We did not expect the removal of a censored film, previously showcased in theatres, from the OTT platform. My team and I never intended to hurt anyone’s sentiments. Being someone who wholly believes in God and frequently visits temples, it is the last thing I would intentionally do. To those whose feelings we’ve touched, I extend my sincere and heartfelt apologies.”
