Rangoli Chandel is planning to sue fashion designer Anand Bhushan for announcing the boycott of sister Kangana Ranaut due to her inflammatory posts. The star sister took to Instagram Story to take on Bhushan.

Chandel claimed that the "small-time designer" is using Kangana's name to promote himself. Accusing Anand of taking leverage of Kangy's stardom, Rangoli said that he will have to prove in court if the actress ever had any endorsement deal with him. She added that they don’t know him.

"This person Anand Bhushan is trying to get mileage on Kangana's name. We are not associated with him in any way. We don't even know him. Many influential handles are, tagging him and dragging Kangana's name with his brand. Kangana charges crores for any brand endorsements but editorial shoots are not brand endorsements, neither we choose nor select those clothes. Magazine editors pick that ensemble looks. This small time designer is using India's top actress name to promote himself. I have decided to sue him. He will have to prove in the court how and where we had any endorsement with him now that he is claiming to disassociate himself ... see you in the court @anandbhushan," read Rangoli's note, shared on Instagram story.

Twitter on Tuesday permanently suspended Kangana Ranaut's handle @KanganaTeam, saying she had repeatedly violated its rules on “hateful conduct and abusive behaviour”. Reacting to it, Ranaut shared a screengrab of her statement to the media on her account suspension. She wrote, "My Twitter account was suspended right after I posted a video on Twitter demanding President rule to stop the genocide in Bengal."

One fallout of Ranaut’s provocative tweets was fashion designers Anand Bhushan and Rimzim Dadu announcing they were removing all her images from their social media channels. They also pledged never to work with her.

"In view of certain events today, we have taken a decision to remove all collaboration images with Kangana Ranaut from our social media channels. We also pledge never to be associated with her in any capacity in the future. We as a brand do not support hate speech," Bhushan wrote on Twitter.

Dadu’s official Instagram handle shared a brief statement, saying the brand will be "removing all posts of past collaborations with Kangana Ranaut". "Never too late to do the right thing! We are removing all posts of past collaborations with Kangana Ranaut from our social channels and pledge to not engage in any future association with her," the statement read.

Swara Bhasker tweeted in support of the designers, saying she is "pleasantly surprised" by their decisions. "Pleasantly surprised to see this! Kudos to you @AnandBhushan & #RimzimDadu for calling out hate speech and incitement to genocide in a direct manner! Stand tall you guys!" she wrote.
