Producer Babubhai Latiwala, who produced Salman Khan's 'Veergati,' has sadly passed away. According to reports from Times Now, the producer breathed his last at Holy Family Hospital in Bandra at 2 am. 'Bombino Video,' a private limited company, produced 'Veergati' in 1995, and Babubhai wrote 'Tirchhi Topiwale' in 1998.


Further information indicates that his last rites will be conducted today. Times Now reported that Babubhai's janaza will depart from his residence, 902 Breezy Heights, Sherly Rajan Road, next to Rizvi Law College, Bandra West, at 4 pm. The tafdeen (burial) will take place at Santacruz Kabristan, opposite Juhu Aeroplane Garden.


The film 'Veergati,' produced by Babubhai Latiwala, is based on the life of Ajay, a boy abandoned by his parents, who was later adopted by a hawaldar. The story revolves around his life, struggles, and battles.


The film featured a stellar ensemble cast, with Salman Khan taking on the lead role, supported by talented actors such as Divya Dutta, Atul Agnihotri, Himani Shivpuri, Farida Jalal, Pooja Dadwal, Sudesh Berry, and Sudhir Pandey, among others. Their collective performances breathed life into the narrative, captivating audiences with their on-screen presence.

Babubhai Latiwala, the visionary producer behind this cinematic masterpiece, demonstrated his prowess in the industry. His contribution extended beyond 'Veergati,' as he also wrote the 1998 much-loved film 'Tirchhi Topiwale,' featuring the dynamic duo of Chunky Panday and Monica Bedi. These two films, among others in his repertoire, exemplify his dedication to delivering memorable and impactful cinema. 

He also backed the 1994 film Beta Ho To Aisa starring  Govinda, Varsha Usgaonkar, Gulshan Grover and Raza Murad in pivotal roles. The film was fully shot in Mumbai and Kerala.

Babubhai Latiwala has contributed to numerous films with his creative and artistic vision. His exceptional work has earned him the admiration and respect of both peers and audiences alike.
