In the latest episode of Sit With Hitlist, Bollywood sensation Sunny Leone took us on an emotional journey through her unforgettable experience at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. From walking the red carpet to garnering a standing ovation for her film, Sunny shared the emotional highs and lows of her Cannes odyssey. Read on as we unpack the glitz, the glamor, and the heartfelt moments that made Cannes a truly transformative milestone in Sunny Leone's illustrious showbiz career.

Her film, Kennedy, directed by Anurag Kashyap, received immense buzz, both in India and at Cannes, captivating audiences with its compelling narrative. As the screening at Cannes concluded, Sunny was met with resounding applause from the audience and a standing ovation. She said, "Everyone said seven minutes. I don't know who did the calculation for seven minutes. Was it really seven minutes?"

When asked if she was teary-eyed, Sunny replied with enthusiasm, "Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. I was crying like a baby the entire week." The Cannes experience had deeply touched her heart, thinking back to witnessing the sea of people on their feet, showering appreciation on her film, filled her heart with emotions that were difficult to express.

Overwhelmed by the thought of that moment, she admitted, "It was a really emotional trip because there are two sides of it for myself. Which is one film which I am so happy and so proud that I could be a part of, directed by someone like Anurag Kashyap, and then Rahul did an amazing job. So, so proud of the film... Then there is my journey and what does Cannes meant to me in my own personal journey, which is the most overwhelming part of it all because if you told me when I stepped foot in the Bigg Boss house that 10 years later, 11 years later, I would be walking at the Cannes Film Festival, I would be like, get out of here, you are out of your mind if you predicted that was going to happen."

As she opened up about her journey to Cannes, Sunny revealed, "I never want this moment to end, this feeling of accomplishment and this feeling of feeling proud, and this feeling of feeling like I made it this far. Like I never want that to go away. I always wanted to feel like this is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. So, if I cried, I cried fine."

For Sunny Leone, Cannes wasn't just about walking the red carpet or attending film premieres; it was a transformative experience, a celebration of her resilience and dedication. The festival served as a testament to her accomplishments, reminding her that dreams do come true and that she has emerged as a true icon in the world of entertainment. As she continues to bask in the afterglow of Cannes, Sunny's unwavering spirit and passion are sure to light up many more screens in the future.
