Alia Bhatt's day today is a memorable one. The actress is all set to receive her first-ever National Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. A film that earned her buckets of praise from critics and fans alike. The winners were previously announced at a press conference for the 69th National Film Awards in August. The all-important ceremony is ready to place at the Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi, where Alia, along with her fellow National Award winners will be felicitated by none other than President Droupadi Murmu.

Alia Bhatt was seen entering the venue with her supportive husband, Ranbir Kapoor. Alia chose a beautiful white saree heavily decorated with golden borders. The saree appeared to be her wedding saree. The actress wore intricate heavy jewellery, and her hair was tied in a chic bun. She elevated her look by putting a beautiful red bindi on her forehead. Ranbir, on the other hand, wore a black button-up suit.

Earlier, Alia Bhatt was spotted at the airport in the wee hours of the morning with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. The ever-present paparazzi captured her emerging from her car in a white ethnic suit paired with chic heels. The actress opted for a natural look and a sleek bun hairstyle. Very reminiscent of her promotional looks for Gangubai Kathiawadi. She chose white earrings and paired it all with a black bag for a contrasting element. She greeted the cameras with a polite smile and a wave. She was accompanied by her husband, Ranbir Kapoor who was in a casual black hoodie.
