Dancer, choreographer and actor Raghav Juyal worked hard, along with his team, to help people especially in rural Uttarakhand amid the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The team worked day and night for Covid relief in the interior places of Uttarakhand, where medical facilities couldn't reach. Whilst this, they observed a few things which required documentation and sharing.

The team has now come up with a docu-series, which is just an effort to understand the ground situation of the state and impact of collective action. Titled 'Understanding Uttarakhand's Covid Crisis', the docu-series is directed by Yashasvi Juyal (Raghav's brother) who has been working too with the team and documented the whole phenomenon.

Raghav Juyal shared a post on Instagram urging people to watch the docu-series to throw light on the crisis of the place and the grass-root efforts that were taken by his team in order to rescue the state from the miserable situation of Covid. He states, "There are many things that have occurred in the past few months in Uttarakhand and everyone knows how critical it was. I request you all to go and watch the documentary that we have made on the ground amidst working for covid relief. It will provide you with a real glance of the situation there because explaining verbally might seem like a false description due to the ongoing airing of fake news. That is the reason I request everyone to watch the docu-series. And please share it as much as possible so that people are well informed and aware. We have documented it with utmost honesty by going to that place itself. So please go and watch this docu-series."

Last month, opening up on what inspired him to take up this initiative, Raghav told IANS, "My acquaintances and I have been receiving distress calls from rural Uttarakhand for oxygen and life-saving equipment for Covid-19 positive patients. We connected with some government officers to understand the situation and we were told that help from all quarters at this time is crucial. The government has also assured us to support us in Uttarakhand in all possible manner."

The 29-year-old Dehradun boy expressed gratitude to those who have stood beside him in this noble cause. "My friends, acquaintances, followers, our volunteers, friends from the TV and film industry, government officials, and donors from around the world -- I'm amazed and overwhelmed to see how everyone is standing with us in this initiative," he said.

Quizzed on what Raghav and his team have done till now to help the common people in the state, he informed (last month), "We were able to send some D Type cylinders to help Pauri Garhwal with the help of officers and field volunteers. This achievement motivated my team, and now we have many more oxygen cylinders, medicines and beds coming for hill districts to save the lives of needy villagers in the far-flung hills of the Himalayas. At present over 130 volunteers, mostly from different parts of the country, are helping us to help patients find ambulances, oxygen beds, oxygen cylinders, ICU beds, blood donors, etc. People are also working on the ground to manage logistics in more than 10 districts."
