A promo of the episode shows Nana grilling a contestant who believes in numerology. He asks her multiple questions prompting her to predict things and eventually tells her to focus on singing rather than believing in such gimmicks.  Nana Patekar says numerology is nonsense  While interacting with Indian Idol 15 contestant Myscmme Bosu, Nana Patekar asks her “You believe in numerology?”, to which she replies with a “Yes”. He then goes on to grill her by asking to predict the winner of this season and guess his age. As Bosu hesitates, he tells her numerology is nonsense and that she should sing without any hesitation. The film will be a Christmas release and will hit the theaters on 20th December 2024. Earlier Anil Sharma discussed casting Nana Patekar in the film and how he became his choice. He told ANI, "There are only a few actors of this age. Amitabh Bachchan has already worked in 'Baghban' and 'Piku' and many other such films. So, I felt that Nana Patekar would be a little fresh and we would get a different dimension in our character...I was very happy working with him." He added, "When I went to Pune to meet him for the first time, I gave him the narration of the script and told him the story for 10-15 minutes. At that time, he agreed. The character was like that. And I enjoyed working with him." Nana Patekar made headlines during the rise of the MeToo Movement in India. In September 2018, former actress Tanushree Dutta alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of 'Horn Ok Please' in 2008 while shooting for a special dance number for the movie, and went on to file an FIR against the 'Welcome' star. However, Patekar refuted all allegations.

Telly Tattle: Rupali Ganguly shares cryptic post on having to prove nothing

Amid her ongoing legal dispute with stepdaughter Esha Verma, Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly reshared a note on her Instagram Stories, which read, “Learn to be okay with people who don’t know your side of the story. You have to prove nothing to anyone.” Earlier this month, Esha was slammed with a Rs 50 crore defamation notice by Rupali. In her response, Esha wrote, “Earlier this month, I made the difficult decision to share my personal story involving my father and my experiences growing up. This decision sparked widespread attention across social media. Speaking up was the hardest thing I’ve done. For 24 years, I felt trapped in a reality I couldn’t escape. Sharing my experiences was my way of finding justice. I want to address an important point: a child should never be punished for speaking their truth. Despite being a young adult, I am still my father’s [Ashwin Verma] child. Their response to my statement was disturbing, cruel, and displayed their true character. I was not just a random individual speaking out but someone who was directly affected as a member of their family.”

Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter says Rs 50 crore defamation case was 'disturbing'

Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Esha Verma has reacted to the actress’ Rs. 50 crore defamation case against her, which she described as “disturbing, cruel and “displayed their true character.” Esha took to her Instagram post, where she penned a lengthy note about the “difficult decision” she made about sharing her personal story involving her father and her experiences growing up. She wrote on her Instagram stories: “This decision sparked widespread attention across social media and the public eye. Speaking up was the hardest thing I've ever done, but it also became a turning point in my life. It brought clarity, peace, and liberation from years of silence. I was mindful of how this would affect not just me but also my friends and loved ones, and I handled it with the utmost care.” She revealed that for 24 years, she felt trapped in a reality that she couldn't escape. “Sharing my experiences was my way of finding freedom and justice. My intention was never to cause harm but to shed light on experiences that shaped me. In doing so. I hoped to give a voice to others who might be facing similar struggles, especially when it comes to family dynamics. As an American citizen, I have, and have exercised, my right to speak up with honesty.” Esha wrote: “Their response to my statement was disturbing, cruel, and displayed their true character, I was not just a random individual speaking out but someone who was directly affected as a member of their family. I have no professional connection to Bollywood or the Indian entertainment industry, nor have I attended or participated in auditions or professional photoshoots in India.” She revealed that one photoshoot in Mumbai in 2017 involved comments made about her appearance by someone she referenced in her story. “Those remarks deeply affected my self-esteem as a young adult, but I've worked hard to rebuild and grow from that experience. I want to encourage everyone to embrace their unique features and celebrate the traits passed down through generations, as they make us who we are. I never involved a minor in my statements.” She added that what she shared was “factual learned of a marriage that took place on February 6th, 2013, and later discovered on August 25th of the same year that they had a child.” “Any additional interpretations published in the media were made without my input or consent. I only spoke about my own experiences and addressed two individuals directly. After posting my last statement, which focused on my personal experiences, I chose to archive it after 48 hours and deactivate certain platforms.” She said it was not out of fear but that she felt she had said all she needed to and wanted “to protect my peace and focus on the present.” “This will be my final statement in this matter. The purpose of this statement is solely to clarify any misconceptions and address uncertainties surrounding my story and the responses it has received. It is intended to instigate further hack and forth in this matter I will not be participating in any interviews, further discussions, or commentary about this situation moving forward." "My focus now is on healing, rebuilding, and embracing the next chapter of my life The past few weeks have been overwhelming, and I took a necessary step back to recharge and prioritise the well-being of myself and my loved ones.” She said that she has come to understand that family is not always defined by blood but by the love, support, and loyalty of those who truly stand by you. “I am now ready to move forward, leaving this behind with dignity and peace I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me during this time. A still from Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile

Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile actor Ayushi Khurana learns on the job

Ayushi Khurana stepped into the role of an investigative reporter with her latest show, Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile. While she understood the nuances of portraying a journalist, her preparation was more observational than research-driven. Her director, Uttam Ahlawat, filled the gaps. “I didn’t do any research, but I did observe how reporting happens in the entertainment beat. I would observe how journalists behaved, their body language; I was always learning while watching the news. Earlier, I watched the news to increase my knowledge; now I watch it to learn more about how my character carries herself. I have learnt everything from interacting with the journalists I meet. I didn’t see political news; it was more about business-related reports. The rest was filled in by my director,” shares the actor. Ayushi Khurana As is common with TV shows, storylines tend to shift once family and romantic tracks take precedence. Khurana confirms that her character remains focused on her profession despite the demands of her domestic life. “I feel family is a priority that comes in every woman’s life. Someday, when I get married, family will become my priority too. For Reet [her character], her job is her priority, so much so that she leaves her own wedding to cover a story. Reporting is her life,” says Khurana, adding that she acknowledges the unpredictability of audience reactions and TRP reports. “You cannot say which show will work and for how long. All we can do is give it our all,” she states.  Although she is relatively new to the industry with three shows to her credit, Khurana is slowly learning the craft with each project. “I take it positively. When I look back at my journey and my previous shows, I feel I am getting better with each performance. I was not a very good actor when I started off, but it’s changing now. When I see my previous shows, I feel I could have done better,” she shares.
