Going by her corporate background, did Mina ever think one day she'll turn into a producer/director?

"Not really as I never belonged to the glamour industry. May be the destiny had other plans for me, clarifies Mina.

What are the projects Mina is handling now as a director? "I just directed Bamb Grenade with popular Punjabi rap-singer Dil Sandhu. I'm handling all Dil Sandhu projects. There are few other interesting projects also which are on way the details of which I'll disclose later," says Mina plainly.

There are not many female directors in glamour industry. So, how does Mina plan to go ahead in her works?

'There's nothing called  a male director or female director. A director is a director is a director. I have trust on my creativity, my directorial skills. So, what I'll be doing, it's purely on my own," says a very confident Mina adding that she wants to motivate other females trying to don directorial hat.

Does Mina think women directors are more sensitive than their male counterparts?

"Not exactly. A person's sensitivity is not measured by his or her gender. It's your work that speaks for itself," explains Mina.

And how does Mina see the current trend in film stories and the situation of the film industry as a whole? "It's going great for film industry as far as creative works are concerned despite of the fact that the industry is badly hit financially by Corona," tells Mina.

What's Mina's take on the emergence of OTT platforms?

"It's a welcome sign and a different trend. Atleast the film industry didn't get shut during this difficult time. People got works. As far the audience is concerned they have now options also in watching a movie,"  replies Mina.

Mina's all-time favourite Bollywood director?

"I can't point out one single director. There are so many fantastic directors," says Mina.

And Mina's hobbies as we got ready to wind up the interview? "They have to be travelling as I love meeting and interacting with new people, explore new cultures and traditions et al, reading books, gardening and listening to good music," Mina smiles and signs off.
