On January 22, a priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, would perform the basic rituals of Ram Lalla's consecration ceremony. The Amrit Mahotsav celebrations will take place in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.

A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya is also planned, during which thousands of devotees will be fed. Several tent towns are being built to accommodate the surge of pilgrims scheduled to gather in Ayodhya for the ceremonial consecration, the ANI report further stated.
