The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Monday announced that marriage registration service will be temporarily stopped due to current Covid-19 situation in Mumbai.

On Sunday, the daily Covid-19 cases dropped below 10,000, with the test positivity rate (TPR) also showing a downward trend. The number of deaths remained constant at 11, showed the civic body’s data.
According to the BMC report, 7,895 new cases were added to the official on Sunday along with a TPR of 13.72 per cent. In the third wave, the highest TPR recorded in Mumbai was 29.9 per cent on January 6.
