Being an MP, a great honour: Jaya Prada

Jaya Prada speaks about her experiences being the member of the 14th Lok Sabha

It was a great honour that people recognised my efforts and bestowed upon me the honour of
becoming a parliamentarian, says actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada.

The Samajwadi Party MP, a member of the outgoing 14th Lok Sabha, said she will miss being the
member of such a huge "family".

"As a family, all sorts of things happen here. I will miss all the skirmishes and arguments
we had," she said.

Showering praise upon Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, the yesteryear Bollywood beauty said the Speaker
had been a teacher to all the MPs and taught them the nuances of parliamentary democracy.
