The festival of the goddess Durga brings out Bangalore's Bengali community in shades that make us proud. Every year this holy day also marks the end of Dasara in the city. While Bangalore may not celebrate the royal festival like its neighbour Mysore the city's diasporic population does bring out its' colourful avataars of the festival and turn the streets into a riot.
