It is always a good thing to introduce new cuisines in an already popular buffet. It gives the regulars the impression they are valued while attracting patrons who may have otherwise not paid too much attention otherwise

The new Thai menu at The Lalit's 24-hour coffee shop does exactly this. While it already has a comprehensive Continental and Indian line-up, the Thai addition is welcome.
Have Yum pla Meuk (squid salad) and Phrik kae with the really excellent Tom Kha Kung soup. There can be nothing better than the comfort of this coconut milk based soup in this picnic weather. If you are not in the mood for cold salads (and you are not to blame if you aren't), then you can pair the soup with the Assorted Satay from the live station.
The Kaeng Leng Kung (tiger prawns in yellow curry) goes very well with Khao Phad Ruan Mitr (jasmine fried rice with vegetables) and the Kai Phad Hed Houm (wok tossed chicken with broccoli and shitake) is a nice mix of meat and vegetables and has no spice at all.u00a0
Steaming hot
You can try the coconut custard but considering this buffet comes with the advantage of a coffee shop you may opt for a steaming cuppa instead.
