Says Pune girl and Pantaloons Femina Miss India World Pooja Chopra in a tete-a-tete with Aanchal Kurmi. Chopra spoke about her metamorphosis from a small-town girl to a glamorous diva, her ambitions and of course, her tinsel town dreams







Apart from winning the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World, 2009 title, the Pune girl also won Femina Miss Beautiful Smile and Talwalkar's Femina Miss Beautiful Body.

Chopra, speaking about the rigorous regime that she had to follow while preparing for the contest, said, "I underwent intensive training sessions and it really helped me a lot. Earlier, I was quite an emotional person but now, I have learnt to face situations heads-on and feel more confident.

There were some aspects in my personality that I wasn't aware of. The training sessions helped me recognise those and have contributed to my growth in all ways mentally, spiritually and physically."

Raised by a single mother, this beauty queen has walked the ramp for fashion shows in Pune and Mumbai.

Having a fetish for kickboxing and paragliding, Chopra is involved in charity work as well. When asked whether models do need brains as well, she said, "Of course, it's beauty with brains that works at international competitions. Besides, one should have a rational attitude towards life."

When asked whether tinsel town is er next destination, Chopra replied, "Honestly speaking, Bollywood is the best option for everybody. However, I haven't thought about it yet. Right now, I am just concentrating on the Miss World pageant."

Sandeep Dharma, a choreographer and model coordinator who trained Chopra, said, "It was amazing to work with her. Now she has made it so big that I call her the supermodel of my entire model bank." He added Chopra is a rock star in every sense.
