LTTE's leader Velupillai Prabhakaran's son Charles Anthony Seelan lies wounded in hospital, the Sri Lankan army was quoted as saying this afternoon.

Charles, the insurgents' star strategist, is being treated in the No Fire Zone, the army said in a statement. The zone is blocked, and entry is barred to the media.
