Ajit Pawar received 1,81,132 votes, while his nearest rival, Yugendra Pawar from the NCP-SP alliance, got 80,233 votes, making the victory margin 1,00,899 votes. In Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray won from the Worli constituency, defeating Shinde Sena's Milind Deora by more than 8,000 votes.
