Kolkata: Former champions Kolkata Knight Riders have created a hospitality box for general public with a seating capacity of 850 at the Eden Gardens here for the IPL season 9.

Each ticket is priced at Rs. 5,500 plus taxes. Apart from a great view of the stadium, the audience will be getting food and beverages along with KKR official merchandise.

"In the magnificent Eden Gardens we wanted to enhance the viewing experience for the spectators. We also wanted to increase the hospitality seats so that general public also gets to feel the ultimate experience which is mainly limited to corporates and the VVIPs. I am hoping that it would be full in all the games," Venky Mysore, MD and CEO Knight Riders Sports PVT LTD said in a statement.

This particular box is situated in the B Block of the stadium right below the main corporate box where team owners and guests get together to cheer their favourite teams.
