GUESS who the Jammu and Kashmir under-22 team is banking on to get out of a hole against Mumbai in the CK Nayudu Trophy? It's Parvez Rasool, the batsman, who was recently released by the Bangalore police afteru00a0 his kit bag allegedly showed traces of explosives.

Rasool was at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul yesterday where he and his mates were at the receiving end of a dominating Mumbai side that scored 437 thanks to centuries from Omkar Gurav (175) and Sarvesh Damle (105).

'Parvez is our main batsman. We are in a difficult position and Mumbai are trying to bowl us out for a low total. Our batsmen will try and hang in there for a draw," said Ahmed. At the end of Day Three, J&K were 32-0.

Though Rasool is back playing competitive cricket for J&K, the mental scars caused by the Bangalore incident will be difficult to erase.
